The S-Class W220 and CL-Class C215 Mercedes Benz instrument clusters suffer from a well known illumination fault, usually resulting in the instrument cluster not lighting up at all or flickering on and off. Some clusters will fail to power up at all.
Prices for these at the main dealer are astronomical, you could be looking at over a £1000, and if you choose to fit a second hand cluster it will need coding in, then the mileage and chassis information in the cluster will be incorrect.
However these clusters are repairable. At Electrotech we can repair these S Class W220 instrument clusters and fully bench test the instrument clusters.
