What is ECU Remapping?
ECU Remapping is the process of optimising the map on your Engine Control Unit (ECU). The Map controls parameters such as Fueling, Timing, Air Intake, Turbo Pressure and much more. By Fine Tuning the map on a vehicle you can achieve the optimum results from your engine whether it is economy or performance you are looking for.
ECU Remapping is usually done via the Diagnostic Port on the vehicle (OBD-2), We Simply read the Original File from your ECU, Tune it to your specification, and the Load the New Modified file onto your ECU. There are no additional components installed in your vehicle.

Fantastic experience with Electrotech! I had a new LCD fitted to my Audi TT display as it was pixelated! Searched the web and looked at the excellent reviews so thought I'd give them a try. I was not disappointed and would definitely use them again. 👍🏼
What can I say? Ford Focus instrument cluster fully repaired, great job. Recommended 🙂
- Stephen Dawson
Highly recommended. Had an intermittent "engine malfunction" message on the instrument cluster causing the engine to cut out while driving (since found out this is a known issue with Ford Focus/C-Max of a certain vintage - late 2000's, early 2010's). This baffled a couple of local garages. Local Ford dealership diagnosed the problem but quoted £1k to replace. Found these guys on the internet, they picked up the instrument cluster, repaired, returned and fitted it in 3 days for a fifth of the price. 4 months and 3k miles later, the car is working fine.
